A few weeks ago when our family was here, my brother, Justin, AKA Uncle Joe, made this video of him and Ava doing the Slip and Slide. It makes me laugh (especially the first part)! Enjoy :)

Garage Sale Anyone?

Come one, come all to our 4th annual Young Married's Garage Sale!
When, you ask? Friday, June 12th from 7:30am-4ish AND Saturday, June 13th from 7:30am-12. We have 16 ladies contributing stuff this year, so we'll have a very LARGE sale going on. Where is it? It's at my house: 339 Wheatridge Ct. (behind GCC). We have everything from a washer and stove, to clothes and toys and let's not forget a bunny or a lemonade stand and cookies-so many treasures just calling your name! Rain or shine (prayerfully-NO rain!) we'll be here so stop on by!

Free Rootbeer Floats!

Horray! We went last year and it was PACKED, so expect to wait in line for a bit :)

I bought Ava a Slip & Slide at Wal-Mart for $5-definatly some inexpensive fun!

Daddy even joined in on the fun :)

Small Group Trip '09.

This year our small group went to a cabin near Cherryvale, Ks. Not a rustic cabin, but a house that looks like a cabin. There was a large kitchen and living room area, 4 bedrooms, a basement, a wonderful and HUGE front porch with a swing & it was all surrounded by trees in the country. It was also surrounded by 'quiet.' The only sounds we heard were bees buzzing and birds chirping. So peaceful! The weather was great too! The house was really shaded, so it was perfect!

It was such a fun and relaxing weekend. Did i say relaxing?

No child responsibilities (thanks to Aunt Traci & Marc & Sarah)

and absolutely nothing to do but eat, play games, sleep, lounge, laugh, swim, and have fun!

We are so thankful for our group of 3 years. We have grown so comfortable with each other that anytime we get together is a good (and let's not forget 'crazy') time!
