Christmas #1.

Our personal family Christmas took place last Saturday (my sister was here to help celebrate!) and included: singing to baby Jesus,a crying baby, Papa John's and sparkling grape juice,electric toothbrushes, a froggy book, a super cape, 'American Girl' doll (aka knockoff, but who needs to know? haha) new perfume, favorite syrup from Cracker Barrel, a Wii, AND of course two very tired parents by the end of the evening. Niece/Cousin #1...

Our family is so excited to announce that we are finally an Aunt/Uncle/Cousin! Collin's Sister and her husband welcomed a precious little girl Thursday evening. I have been waiting for this day for so long and now that its here it seems it went so fast! Crazy how that works. Meet Chloe Joy Chambers. We love her to pieces already!

5 MONTHS.

This little man is growing so fast. Nothing much has changed. He still eats ALOT and is my most laid back baby! Love him!

I decided this year not to attempt family pictures on my own...i think i made the right choice! A few of my favorite family pictures by the super sweet and talented Paula Unruh from this fall!

A Tea Party.

Ava requested a Tea Party for her 7th birthday, so i brushed up on my tea etiquette and away we went! We had 'real' tea, mini sandwiches, mini doughnuts (made with cheerios, candy melts and sprinkles), mini peanut butter blossoms, and cake pops! After our tea instructions there was MUCH eating (girls still know how to eat!), a princess quiz, tea bingo, presents and my homemade pinatas! I probably will never make a homemade pinata out of paper mache again. Way to messy and tedious. The paper bag held up MUCH longer and got several more swats out of it! Live and learn :) Where will Ava's party be next year? Not here. lol.
