A Year in Review...

12 Months of growing...

If IT Bounces...

...Cai will kick his feet excitedly and fetch it. Sometimes I catch him carrying it in his mouth. I think he may be confused ;) Anyways...the ball is his best friend. It's all he plays with all day-and he has a really good arm (see video below). One of his first words was 'ba' for ball. Yes-i have a BOY! :) It's so fun.

Feeling Blessed.

I'm feeling so blessed today. No reason...just a good day. God has been showing me a lot of things about myself that have been 'icy' lately...so I've been praying. Praying to see all the blessings in my life instead of focusing on the melt downs, messes, dirty diapers. To feel blessed even when I am having a BAD day. Sometimes that's SO hard to do, but as the book I'm studying states...we are all working towards 'imperfect progress'. I'm not perfect...never will be-BUT with Christ there is hope...reason to keep trying to serve HIM through my actions, words, attitudes... This summer i have been attending the 'Unglued' Bible study at church with women of all ages, stages in life, struggles, fears and its been GREAT! I NEEDED this study so bad...just didn't know it. I would encourage you to read it-its been such a blessing in my life and i'm sure any woman will grab something out of it-no matter where you area of struggle is (even my husband has found it helpful!) Speaking of blessings, i think these are pretty great...

Climbing.

Cai was REALLY proud of himself for learning to climb this week! So proud that he gave himself a round of applause.

BUBBLES.

Once in a while i search pinterest for fun activities. This one seemed simple enough...a empty bottle of water, old sock, soap... Cut off the bottom of the bottle...attach the sock over that end with tape or a rubber band...dip the sock in a water/soap mix and then BLOW. Simple right? Well, we blew REALLY hard,but it wasn't doing much. So daddy came up with a better plan...using the air compressor. After we hooked that up, it was so much fun! Apparently 'we' don't have enough hot air ;) Click HERE to see the page we got the idea from. What was Cai doing during all of this? Eating rocks.

11 Months.

Our little man is not so little anymore. Today marks 11 months! In the past few weeks he FINALLY figured out how to crawl, and now...watch out! He's into EVERYTHING! Including his new favorite activity-pulling books off of shelves and throwing them. This photo shoot was a little more challenging this month-he was so squirmy!
Happy 11 Months Cai. Stop growing SO FAST!
